Welcome to River Bend Angler (“River Bend Angler,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (riverbendangler.com), online store, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use River Bend Angler.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

Description of Service

River Bend Angler is an online retailer specializing in fly-fishing flies, accessories, and related products. Through the Service, users may browse products, create accounts, place orders, and receive customer support. All product descriptions, images, and information are provided for general informational purposes only. River Bend Angler does not guarantee that any product will meet your personal expectations or fishing outcomes.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

River Bend Angler reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

User Content

The Service may allow users to submit product reviews, comments, or other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant River Bend Angler a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, display, modify, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content for operating and improving the Service.

You agree not to submit any User Content that:

  • Violates any law or regulation;

  • Contains harmful, offensive, or misleading material;

  • Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;

  • Contains malware or harmful code; or

  • Violates acceptable use standards of River Bend Angler or its third-party service providers.

We may remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms.

Use of Third-Party Services

River Bend Angler uses third-party technology and service providers, including but not limited to Wix, Wix Payments, and shipping carriers such as USPS or UPS. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Third-party providers may process payments, store data, or fulfill shipments on our behalf;

  • River Bend Angler is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers; and

  • Your use of third-party features may be subject to additional terms and policies imposed by those providers.

 

Purchases, Payments & Shipping

When you make a purchase through the Service, you agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information. Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments or other authorized payment processors. River Bend Angler does not store or have access to full credit card numbers.

Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. River Bend Angler is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors outside our control.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose;

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks;

  • Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service;

  • Circumvent security features, order limits, or product restrictions;

  • Submit fraudulent orders or chargebacks without legitimate cause.

River Bend Angler may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any violation of these Terms.

Fishing results vary significantly based on environmental factors, user skill, and local conditions. River Bend Angler makes no guarantee regarding fishing success or outcomes when using our products.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, River Bend Angler and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or products purchased through it.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or Service related to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. River Bend Angler may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion.

Changes to Terms

River Bend Angler may update these Terms occasionally. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey.
